Brilliant Job!!

We had to move both furniture and a ton of small boxes. They created a plan, loaded in a logical order, and stacked everything carefully in the truck. Nothing shifted, and unpacking was easy because everything was labeled.

Amazing Service! Highly recommended.

So like everyone I know that has moved it can be stressful. From the very first estimate down to to the delivery process they could not done a better job. Polite and courteous not to mention very informative. I received a very competitive rate and well worth it. Even the actual movers were professional and packed and loaded my belongings with care yet efficient and in a timely manner. Always answered their phones whenever we had any questions or called me back within 30 minutes which I loved .Once loaded the truck looked like an Amazon warehouse! Padded, wrapped and color coded shrink wrapped. Looked amazing. I even took pictures bc it looked so good. have referred a family member to them and they also had a great experience. No complaints and most importantly my wife was very happy how they staged our home as well. Thank You Allied Transportation!!!

Terrible Experience with Allied Transportation Group LLC and SSA ENT

I recently had an incredibly disappointing experience with Allied Transportation Group LLC and SSA ENT LLC, and I feel compelled to share my ordeal to caution others.

Initially quoted $2947 based on the number of bedrooms, my moving date had to be rescheduled to September 15-16, 2023, resulting in an additional $300 charge. On the 14th, they requested my inventory list and suddenly inflated the quote to $4817, blaming a fired employee for the initial mistake.

On the pickup date (July 16th), despite providing the same inventory, they claimed I exceeded the estimate and demanded an extra $1845.50 before loading the truck. I agreed, assuming a swift delivery.

Despite consulting with the driver for a delivery date of September 20th or 21st, my belongings haven't arrived as of November 12, 2023. There's no estimated delivery time, only the claim that they legally have up to 14 business days from the first available delivery date. This unexpected delay has left my family, including a toddler and my pregnant wife, living in an empty home for almost three weeks.

Allied Transportation Group LLC and SSA ENT LLC have shown a blatant disregard for transparency, consistently changing quotes and failing to provide any clarity on delivery timelines. This experience has been a source of immense stress and financial strain, as we've had to make duplicate purchases to cope with the extended wait.

I strongly caution anyone considering these movers – their lack of professionalism, hidden fees, and inability to adhere to agreed-upon timelines have made this relocation a nightmare. Avoid Allied Transportation Group LLC and SSA ENT LLC at all costs.

CON ARTISTS AND SCAMMERS

They are supposedly a broker for other moving companies but really they are con artists. They talk a good game in keeping you reassured and making you sign that estimate but they charged us an extra $1000 to move my parents from Florida to Georgia. We went over the list and the allowed boxes. We went under the box amount by a third and added a 2 more items which according to them doubled the cubic footage they added $1000 to the invoice and told us after the items were loaded and on the way. There was ONE mover, who came with no tools and did not disassemble the beds (which probably added to the cubic footage even though they swear that it doesn't matter). They showed up late (scheduled for 4-5pm they showed up at 8pm didn’t leave til 10) and had the nerve to say that oh we Should have called before they loaded the truck mind you have been declining calls, rude and just overall unprofessional. They make you sign an estimate and don’t stick to it. We were called liars and everything else under the sun while they’re keeping our stuff hostage until we pay the full amount. If you’re moving under specific budget and don’t like to be lied to. Whatever 5 star review they have is probably coming from them. If this ever happens to you call the FMCSA to file a complaint because what they’re doing is breaking federal laws.

I think there is some confusion as to how this works. Also no federal, local, DOT laws have been broken. Please read the paperwork you signed.

DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY!***

Please take a closer look at all the good reviews - they are fake/made up. Look Allied Transportation Group up on Better Business Bureau and you will find the real reviews. This company is deceitful at the very least, if not an outright scam. Allied does not provide any service that I can see, they hire another trucking company to move your stuff, for me it was Rapid Relocation and they are awful, and no one was there from Allied when I needed help.

In my situation I was given a low quote and when the movers came in on moving day they goudged me another 50% on top of what I was quoted, at that point you have no choice, you need them to take your stuff and you have already given them your down payment. The salesmen in the beginning will be very non-chalant about how accurate you need to be with your inventory list, so that they can come in and do this, my salesman was Michael Joseph. Also the movers did not have the updated list that I had given to Bruce Richards at Allied Transportation Group which would have made it easier for me to understand just how much they were adding onto my estimate.

After that my stuff was delivered in complete dis-array, every box damaged with a lot of my stuff broken and to top it off the adjustable base for my sleep number mattress was not on the truck and has yet to be delivered after nearly a month and I can no longer get a hold of anyone at either company! They are just ignoring me.

To sum up Allied Transportation Group does not provide any type of moving service, all they did for me was give a me a low ball quote and then left me hanging when I needed help, they literally would not answer my calls when we found out the base was missing and I have the texts to prove it.

Whatever boiler plate response they provide to this is probably a lie, but if there is a responsible person at Allied then please help me get my belongings back.

TERRIBLE SERVICE

I wish it was possible to give someone negative stars, but it wouldn’t even matter based on all the fake reviews they give themselves to try and seem like a better company than they are.

*** If you only read this part of the review know that we HAD TO GET A LAWYER BECAUSE THEY BREAK THE LAWS. DO NOT USE THEM. We have filed a formal complaint with the Florida Attorney General, FMCSA, and BBB. DO NOT USE ALLIED TRANSPORTATION OR THEIR MOVING COMPANY ATG(yes they own it, if you call ATG they say “thanks for calling allied). ***

375.607 is the law that requires movers to tell you where they stored your stuff if they try to deliver early and you cannot accept it. They picked up my stuff on 1/05, the guy who introduced himself as a partner of ATG moving - Matt, and the brother of James, owner of Allied Transpiration, said they were doing a straight through delivery on the 7th. Our first available delivery date was the 11th. He said that him personally and the guy who loaded with him would drop it off on the 11th then since we couldn’t accept an early delivery. We called Matt on the 10th for our drop off period and he says we need to call customer service because he’s stuck in California but he did drop our stuff off in Colorado. I call Noah (supposed head of customer service), who transfers me to Tracy (supposed head of operations) who said Matt never had the right to communicate that and our stuff is not in Colorado. It was like pulling teeth to get her to tell us it was in Texas, but she wouldn’t even say what city, even though the LAW requires the EXACT address. She was reminded of this on multiple dates, they never once shared the address.

In addition to this, I signed a BINDED contract that stated ATG moving would be doing a full service move. Allied transportation changed our movers for delivery, without ever telling us (violates contract), our items would not be delivered unless we paid more (violates a binded estimate), and none of our stuff was reassembled upon delivery (services paid & not rendered). We are MISSING multiple items, some as large as our office chair. And SO much is broken, including a basically brand new TV.

Our lawyer reached out last week for additional items needed to file the complaint for our thousand of items missing or broken & not surprisingly - no response.

Also, for pick up they showed up in a Penske rental truck, they do not own their own trucks. They also had someone there they hired from craigslist and had never met before. For delivery, it was dropped off in a budget truck.

They liked to treat me like I didn’t understand how interstate moves work, but I never had issues when I did it with a company that had competent people working for them. Our issues stemmed from being communicated a drop off date that we planned help around, being told our stuff would be priority due to their mistake (which was not priority at all), and being told our stuff was in multiple states. I spent weeks being nice to them while all the while thinking our stuff was stolen, missing or lost.

Tracey was so rude she told me I couldn’t read right when I sent her both the movers brochure for your rights and a screenshot of the law they were breaking. Noah told me I couldn’t comprehend things (see screenshots of both, and Tracey admittedly breaking the law around our storage unit address). I promise you they just hope that you don’t understand your movers rights and will treat you horribly when they realize you’re smarter than them (which isn’t hard).

Literally only book with them if you want the biggest migraine of your life due to their incompetency and lack of any type of proper communication. They are so condescending and the way they talk to you is absolutely baffling for a company you hire. I have included screenshots to show what they TEXTED me because they won’t pick up the phone. Thankfully, their inability to communicate properly only helped us with our lawyer. They will not call you back, return voicemails, and they will transfer you to people with a new title just to continue the same go around.

Move size: 2 Bedroom Home Service cost: $3500

Official company response

This has been explained so many times. You did not have direct delivery. The reason for the insults is because of the information you just listed below....This was after YOUR ATTORNEY called and informed US as well as YOU that there was NOTHING done wrong on Allied's part or ATG (yes that are owned by the same people, which a simple google search can confirm as well as asking anyone in this company).
The Department of Transportation gives carriers 30 days to deliver from the date of the FADD on the BOL. (please research).
We are not required to tell customers where their items are located in storage if their items are considered "STORAGE IN TRANSIT" - which your items were. We are only required by the DOT to give a customer storage location information if we LEAVE YOUR ITEMS IN STORAGE WITHOUT DELIVERY. NOT IF WE ARE THE ONES DELIVERING YOUR ITEMS BEGINNING TO END! THEN ITS PLACED IN A PUBLIC WAREHOUSE THAT A CUSTOMER CANNOT HAVE ACCESS TO! It's used for loading and offloading only! So to sum this up... you are so wrong in so many ways with this move and instead of listening to how this works, you had to spend more money to hire an attorney to explain it to you. EVERYTHING WITH YOUR MOVE WAS DONE IN ACCORDANCE WITH DOT STANDARDS AND BY FMCSA REGULATIONS. AS EXPLAINED BY US AND YOUR ATTORNEY MANY MANY TIMES.

A nightmare!

This company had a 3 day delay the first scheduled pick up. Then stated load was three times over the estimate. When I questioned the amount the mover became belligerent and finally unloaded all furniture. Was sent a second mover and showed up in an open trailer! I refused to allow my furniture to be transported on an open trailer. Company refused any resolution and refused to return deposit. Terrible experience!

Move size: Partial Move Service cost: $700

Official company response

Thank you for sharing your experience. I’m truly sorry to hear that your move did not go as expected. We take all feedback seriously and are committed to resolving any issues fairly and professionally.

Regarding the delay on the first pickup, we acknowledge that any disruption to the agreed schedule is frustrating, and we apologize for the inconvenience. As for the estimate discrepancy, while weight and volume can vary from what’s initially quoted, the behavior you described from our mover is completely unacceptable. We do not tolerate unprofessional conduct and are investigating this internally.

The second attempt to complete your move should have met our standard of care and equipment. We understand your concern about the open trailer and agree that your furniture should be transported securely and safely.

Finally, we sincerely regret that you felt there was no resolution offered. We would like to review your case in more detail to see what steps can still be taken.

DO NOT USE THIS MOVING COMPANY!!!

Complete nightmare from start to finish. Move was double the estimate, movers showed up with no packing material or boxes, truck showed up 11 hours late at 1:30am to load my house! I asked several times to be emailed information which I have still never received.

DO NOT USE THIS MOVING COMPANY!!!

When I got the call that my things were ready to be delivered, I was charged a $1,750 Shuttle Fee because the truck the brought was too big. If I didn't pay, I didn't get my things.

30 of my items we damaged, broken or destroyed when I started unpacking. The Team delivering my items could not have cared less. They told me to call whoever packed it to complain. When I called Allied to file a complaint, I was told there is NO Complaint form! They told me to check my Homeowners Insurance. Absolutely no help.

Soma Trans LLC and Dimbas LLC were the two companies they used to move my things. $20K is what it cost in the end. I have over $4K worth of damage to my belongings that I will never see. Furniture, pottery, artwork, all destroyed. The worst most unprofessional company I have ever had the great unfortune to work with. DO NOT believe anything that they tell you, It Is a LIE!

DO NOT USE THIS MOVING COMPANY!!!

No good.

Beware! They are NOT a moving company and not to be mistaken for Allied Moving. They are a broker. Why is this important? Because as soon as they sell the service they wipe their hands clean of any responsibility or help if anything goes sideways with the move. Which in my case it did. I have over 2k in damage and the movers they selected offered me initially 50 bucks! Then changed it to 100! What a joke, If I was you, liquidate your belongings and start over, or go with someone else if your care for your belongings. 100 bucks…haha.

SCAMMERS

Do not believe their "good" reviews. They probably use a third party to either remove negative reviews or fake accounts to post positive reviews - Research them on Yelp and BBB.

We hired Allied to assist in the move from our small office in Louisiana to Florida. We provided the list of furniture that needed to be moved and were given an estimate of $1841. This amount was paid in full at the signing of the contract. We received notice the mover would be available to pick up our items that following Tuesday. As we are a business, we had a representative available to meet the mover. I was then notified that the mover had an increased estimate. I’m an understanding and reasonable person, I understood that there might be an increase based on the amount of space the items take up. But the increase went from $1800 to $8200. He stated our furniture would take up a full 26 foot truck which typically can hold a 3-4 bedroom house.

When I asked for a copy of the estimate I was given a handwritten note with no real explanation of the costs. According to the movers, the quote is based on what they visually see. I requested an itemized breakdown and received photos of all the items we originally listed. A few items he provided pictures of were not to be included in the move. I was told I needed to speak with Allied to discuss the quote. I call Allied and speak with Daniel Summers who stated that he needed to review the documents and quotes from the movers. I expressed my frustration as our company is now losing money due to their original calculation for space being inaccurate. He hung up on me. I call back, no answer. Send a text. No answer. The following Thursday I get a text from Daniel telling me to call the movers. I explained I was out sick with Covid but was waiting to hear back from him in regards to the estimate the mover gave us. His response “They gave you a revised. They are picking you up. Please call them. He gave you a new quote. CALL THEM BECAUSE YOU ARE NOT ANSWEING THEM. They are the movers. CALL THEM!!!!” I explained to him that I was waiting for his response; PLUS the mover had only called me once which I responded to him via text.

Since this occurred, I received a voicemail from one of their reps stating we were due a refund. I have had to hire another company to move the furniture. Their company will not respond to me via email. And they are still refusing to refund the $1841 we paid up front - more than the required deposit.

We have filed complaints against them on BBB without resolution. We want to cancel the contract and get our money back. This company is a scam. They scammed us for the money and have left us losing money as a company. They are rude and unprofessional.
