Long-distance move from Miami, FL to Pueblo, CO

Brilliant Job!!

We had to move both furniture and a ton of small boxes. They created a plan, loaded in a logical order, and stacked everything carefully in the truck. Nothing shifted, and unpacking was easy because everything was labeled.

Long-distance move from Vicksburg, MS to Hayesville, NC

A nightmare!

This company had a 3 day delay the first scheduled pick up. Then stated load was three times over the estimate. When I questioned the amount the mover became belligerent and finally unloaded all furniture. Was sent a second mover and showed up in an open trailer! I refused to allow my furniture to be transported on an open trailer. Company refused any resolution and refused to return deposit. Terrible experience!

Move size: Partial Move Service cost: $700

Official company response

Thank you for sharing your experience. I’m truly sorry to hear that your move did not go as expected. We take all feedback seriously and are committed to resolving any issues fairly and professionally.

Regarding the delay on the first pickup, we acknowledge that any disruption to the agreed schedule is frustrating, and we apologize for the inconvenience. As for the estimate discrepancy, while weight and volume can vary from what’s initially quoted, the behavior you described from our mover is completely unacceptable. We do not tolerate unprofessional conduct and are investigating this internally.

The second attempt to complete your move should have met our standard of care and equipment. We understand your concern about the open trailer and agree that your furniture should be transported securely and safely.

Finally, we sincerely regret that you felt there was no resolution offered. We would like to review your case in more detail to see what steps can still be taken.

Long-distance move from Fairview, KS to Day, FL

Best Service!!

I initially had a date that I wanted to move but it changed twice. Allied Transportation Group was more than accommodating for me. When I was firm with my moving date, I scheduled a pickup. To my surprise they said they could deliver within two days. I glad I had a group of people who understood what I was going through and helped me along the way.

Local move within Illinois

No good.

Beware! They are NOT a moving company and not to be mistaken for Allied Moving. They are a broker. Why is this important? Because as soon as they sell the service they wipe their hands clean of any responsibility or help if anything goes sideways with the move. Which in my case it did. I have over 2k in damage and the movers they selected offered me initially 50 bucks! Then changed it to 100! What a joke, If I was you, liquidate your belongings and start over, or go with someone else if your care for your belongings. 100 bucks…haha.

DO NOT USE THIS MOVING COMPANY!!!

Complete nightmare from start to finish. Move was double the estimate, movers showed up with no packing material or boxes, truck showed up 11 hours late at 1:30am to load my house! I asked several times to be emailed information which I have still never received.

DO NOT USE THIS MOVING COMPANY!!!

When I got the call that my things were ready to be delivered, I was charged a $1,750 Shuttle Fee because the truck the brought was too big. If I didn't pay, I didn't get my things.

30 of my items we damaged, broken or destroyed when I started unpacking. The Team delivering my items could not have cared less. They told me to call whoever packed it to complain. When I called Allied to file a complaint, I was told there is NO Complaint form! They told me to check my Homeowners Insurance. Absolutely no help.

Soma Trans LLC and Dimbas LLC were the two companies they used to move my things. $20K is what it cost in the end. I have over $4K worth of damage to my belongings that I will never see. Furniture, pottery, artwork, all destroyed. The worst most unprofessional company I have ever had the great unfortune to work with. DO NOT believe anything that they tell you, It Is a LIE!

DO NOT USE THIS MOVING COMPANY!!!

Long-distance move from Houma, LA to Port Charlotte, FL

SCAMMERS

Do not believe their "good" reviews. They probably use a third party to either remove negative reviews or fake accounts to post positive reviews - Research them on Yelp and BBB.

We hired Allied to assist in the move from our small office in Louisiana to Florida. We provided the list of furniture that needed to be moved and were given an estimate of $1841. This amount was paid in full at the signing of the contract. We received notice the mover would be available to pick up our items that following Tuesday. As we are a business, we had a representative available to meet the mover. I was then notified that the mover had an increased estimate. I’m an understanding and reasonable person, I understood that there might be an increase based on the amount of space the items take up. But the increase went from $1800 to $8200. He stated our furniture would take up a full 26 foot truck which typically can hold a 3-4 bedroom house.

When I asked for a copy of the estimate I was given a handwritten note with no real explanation of the costs. According to the movers, the quote is based on what they visually see. I requested an itemized breakdown and received photos of all the items we originally listed. A few items he provided pictures of were not to be included in the move. I was told I needed to speak with Allied to discuss the quote. I call Allied and speak with Daniel Summers who stated that he needed to review the documents and quotes from the movers. I expressed my frustration as our company is now losing money due to their original calculation for space being inaccurate. He hung up on me. I call back, no answer. Send a text. No answer. The following Thursday I get a text from Daniel telling me to call the movers. I explained I was out sick with Covid but was waiting to hear back from him in regards to the estimate the mover gave us. His response “They gave you a revised. They are picking you up. Please call them. He gave you a new quote. CALL THEM BECAUSE YOU ARE NOT ANSWEING THEM. They are the movers. CALL THEM!!!!” I explained to him that I was waiting for his response; PLUS the mover had only called me once which I responded to him via text.

Since this occurred, I received a voicemail from one of their reps stating we were due a refund. I have had to hire another company to move the furniture. Their company will not respond to me via email. And they are still refusing to refund the $1841 we paid up front - more than the required deposit.

We have filed complaints against them on BBB without resolution. We want to cancel the contract and get our money back. This company is a scam. They scammed us for the money and have left us losing money as a company. They are rude and unprofessional.

Long-distance move from Castle Rock, CO to Lithia Springs, GA

A devastating experience with these liars and crooks

IF ALLIED CHEATED YOU, EMAIL ALLIEDTGCLASSACTION@GMAIL.COM.

Warning: This is NOT Allied Van Lines, the reputable decades-old movers. From the reviews it appears that some people have mistakenly left positive reviews for this company that were intended for Allied Van Lines.

But “Allied” called us, and, after my fiancée said her parents had used Allied for 20+ years, the rep let her falsely believe the 11-mo.-old broker was the same Allied, never mentioning they weren’t movers. $3450 later, Allied didn’t provide the legally required list of movers nor identify the movers, Houston-based Visions, a.k.a. Royal Transport and other DBAs (with an BBB grade of F and myriad horror stories on the web). Instead, they said to have cash, money order or cashier’s check when they arrived, which we later discovered is a highly dubious practice. After compelling us to sign a bill of lading (BOL) with Visions, Allied told us their name.

Visions co-owner Victor arrived by U-Haul. Throughout the day, he assured us that Allied’s mistaken double-count of 18 bins meant abundant space for extra items to fill the 1130 cu ft. Only when I asked at one point did Victor say they were full. With a huge overestimate, they nonetheless couldn’t load the remaining 20% of our items FROM THE ESTIMATE without nearly $4000 more, 70% now! With box size estimates far exceeding actual sizes and NO oversized furniture, we were shocked. No, we couldn’t pay cash now and would have to scramble to move the rest to GA from CO. Victor’s reply: “Not my problem.”

There’s more.

Having us agree to buy 1 $135 shrink wrap roll - which “should take care of all of it” – and 2 $80 crates, he charged for 3 rolls, 6 crates and both sets of stairs when the estimate included one free. After arguing, he “did [us] a favor” by reducing somewhat the extra charges while threatening to unload the truck if we didn’t agree to this extortion.

Victor clearly stated delivery would be at least a week after a FADD of 7/25, because “no way” a truck could arrive by even 7/26 when it was 7/18. But the only FADD in writing was 8/23 on our binding estimate.

2 days later, Victor reiterated by phone that delivery would be a week or more after 7/25. After I shared that we had to postpone our departure to rent a truck, he put me on hold to “contact the driver,” then revealed that delivery would be on 7/25 or 26, and if no one could take delivery, he’d charge storage and redelivery fees, likely in the $1000s!

We’d yet have hard copy paperwork from Visions or Allied - only an image of the BOL after signing it and a binding estimate PDF. Despite no written FADD, Victor insisted on 7/25. Victor then texted a copy of the BOL with his signature and a FADD of “7/25/22” scribbled in AFTER my fiancée had signed. FRAUD!!!

When we informed Allied’s Daniel Summers, he ignored us, then days later said that we weren’t his only customers and he’d take care of us when he could. Finally, he responded, indignantly refusing to help except to provide us with paperwork. He never did.

Only after help from Tom Martino’s radio show did Victor and driver Sam work out a FADD and guarantee not to charge storage and redelivery. They agreed to send a picture of our goods on the truck before arrival but REFUSED to demand payment to open it to let us see if our items are there! When I protested, Victor said if we didn’t like it, he’d auction our items.

UPDATE:

Moving the remaining items costs us almost $5500.

The movers? 225 cu ft of boxes, bins, & furniture did not show up; broken antiques; crushed FRAGILE boxes on the bottom of stacks; broken items in boxes; open boxes missing items; our mattress with urine and mold on it; someone apparently kicked in and broke the foot off the white vanity; a precious antique dresser and family heirloom that was “crated” splintered in the back. We did not include all the pictures here for sake of space. I could go on about this, but it’s too tearjerking at this point.

After months of trying, neither Visions nor Allied has provided means to file a claim. Daniel agreed to send a link but then hasn’t and ignores my texts.

BL: Allied - liars & crooks partnering with liars & crooks to rip you off! STAY AWAY!!!

Official company response

Lets address each issue/claim one by one....
1. Every review on our page is from an ACTUAL customer. There is not one review that is mistakenly left for any other company.
2. No one asked for a list of carriers. We are only required to have a list of carriers available to you.
3. We have our company name written on every document you sign at the time of booking. It is also on all the documents emailed to you before your pickup. There should of been no confusion of who you booked your move with.
4. The forms of payment for pickup and delivery were outlined in the estimate [signed by you] as well as in the email sent to you titled "Verification and Important Information Regarding your Move!" The payment options you listed are the CORRECT payment options for ALL Household Goods Interstate Carriers.
5. "After compelling us to sign a bill of lading (BOL)" -- This is the law. Must be signed 3 days before pickup according to the FMCSA.
6. 90% of all pickups for long distance, interstate moves are picked up in your typical U-Haul, Penske, Ryder since they are then taken back to the local warehouse and reloaded into a semi and sent for delivery.
7. I don't know how we are the ones who mistakenly counted your items, when the inventory was given to us by YOU or a family member at the time of booking and WAS SIGNED OFF ON STATING IS WAS CORRECT. IF INCORRECT, it should not of been signed or it should have been amended at the time of your Quality Assurance Call with Adrienne on 7/13/22 but at the time of your call with her, you stated that you needed to get a good box count and call back the next day. You refused to pay the additional amount to add all the items that were sent to Adrienne, therefore your estimate went up when those items were added at pickup. You paid for the space and volume you took up.
8. Shrink wrap is not provided (also outlined in your signed estimate as well as in the verification email).
The other issues outlined in your above review will be addressed. We are very sorry that you incurred damages and are missing some items. This has to be filed by claim with Visions.
We have not heard anything from you since 8/2022. Everything else you outlined is standard practice in the industry and the information was sent to you multiple times. All of this can be sent as backup.

Do Not Use

I will forever scream it from the rooftops not to use this horrible company. I wish I had looked further into the reviews when I used them and saw they are just padded with their own fake 5 star reviews. If you read all the negative reviews they all have the same theme. Thia company will charge you a butt ton more money than the estimate they give you but not until after they've gotten all your items loaded up pn the back of one of their trucks. They will break items during the loading process and not tell you, you'll only learn later when you look at the cameras because you find a bunch of glass in your yard after they leave.

They will tell you upper management will give you a call by the end of the week and 2 months will pass by with no call from management.

You can leave tons of voicemail and text messages that will go unanswered.

They will give you multiple dates for your stuff to be delivered and then not call or come on said dates.

I am a single mom who was leaving a bad situation and instead of that being a smooth process it has added more undo stress to my kids and I.

I've made a BBB complaint and now my next step is contacting local news outlets as I'm sure there is a story based on the number of 1 star reviews that all state the same bait and switch estimate tactics.

Official company response

I want to start by sincerely apologizing for the distressing experience you’ve described. Moving is already a major life event—especially in a difficult personal situation—and I’m truly sorry that our service added stress instead of helping to ease your transition.

Your concerns about inaccurate estimates, poor communication, property damage, and unfulfilled promises from management are deeply troubling. That is not the standard we hold ourselves to, and I assure you that your review is being taken seriously.

We do not condone bait-and-switch pricing tactics, and if a team member or process failed you in this regard, that needs to be addressed. Transparency, respect, and accountability are core values we strive for, and it's clear from your review that we missed the mark in multiple areas. I am also personally concerned about the claim of broken items and lack of response from our team—there is no excuse for that kind of customer experience.

While I know no message can undo the frustration and disappointment you’ve gone through, I would still like the opportunity to speak with you directly, review your case in full, and find a resolution that reflects the seriousness of your concerns.

Bait and Scam

Worst company ever. They should not be in business. When you call them they are all sweet and nice, but once they get a deposit, then you can never reach them again. Promised that the movers would come in morning showed up at 10PM with a half full truck and then gave us a price of 3 times of what we were quoted. Also said a 24 foot truck was coming and would take our belongings straight there then found out that they weren't delivering it to our destination but going to another state to unload it and another truck would take it This was never discussed with us. They are a bait and scam company. They don't even deserve 1 star rating and a class action law suit should be brought against them.

Dishonest

When I initially talked to Sam to get an estimate for our long distance move, he quoted a price and told me the final cost would be around $2,000. Not true. Very dishonest person and company! He then referred me to someone else who further scammed us and doubled the initial quote (and was rude in the process). Tried to talk to Sam again but was unable to get him. We did not receive all of our belongings and received some that aren’t ours. Allied contracted with SSA to move us (without telling me they were a broker), and the experience with them has been worse than terrible! Now unable to reach them to file a claim. Called Allied back(now dealing with Noah) to help me since they hired SSA. They have not provided any help, even though Noah continues to tell me he will get them to send a claim form.

Warning to others—DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY!

I had a great experience with Allied Transportation Group. They were very informative on everything that was happening and kept me in the loop. I moved across the country and the price was reasonable for where I was going. My customer service rep was Natasha and she was very responsive and communicative. Perfect Job!!

We used them for a long-distance move last week. Everything was loaded, tagged, and grouped perfectly. They delivered a day earlier than promised and nothing was missing or broken. Professional Mover!!

Allied Transportation Group LLC helped me move into my first house. They brought all their own tools, pads, and even door stoppers. They took apart the bed frame, wrapped every piece, and reassembled it exactly where I wanted. I’ve heard horror stories about movers disappearing for lunch or dragging things out. Not this time. They were in, out, and done all while staying polite and focused. It made what could’ve been a stressful day feel calm.

Con artists

Do not under any circumstances use this company. These people are con artists and this company is truly BEYOND horrible!!!!

First they promise their quote is better and they’re this great 5 star company and the quote was extremely reasonable. I asked before signing- so should I expect any other fees? and was told nope only if you live on 3rd floor. I also asked so do I need to call you and tell you things I think of before pick up or do I just tell the movers when they come? and I was told nope just tell the movers. Okay yay this is so great right? So fast forward to pick up where I wasn’t even present and all of a sudden I’m being charged over $1400 extra for information that I even asked prior!!!! I called the manager the next day and they said they’d call me Monday so it’s Thursday I still hadn’t heard so I reached out and they said “I signed so I’m liable and have to pay this” I DIDNT EVEN SIGN - THE PERSON PRESENT FOR PICK UP DID, I WAS GIVEN WRONG INFO, INFO WAS WITHHELD AND I WASNT EVEN PRESENT FOR THIS!!!! So they asked and confirmed on pick up when do you want delivery to be so I told them a Saturday/Sunday when I’m off and they said ok just make sure you’re home to sign. Fast forward to the day of and I haven’t heard a thing so finally after calling 10 different numbers I get in touch with a manager and “we won’t have an update until Monday and the manager will personally reach out to me on Monday” Well Monday comes around and no word from the manager so thankfully this nice person in billing informed me “ITLL NOW BE HERE IN 5-14 BUSINESS DAYS”

HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE!!!!!! My medical supplies are in that truck that I need to literally survive and they won’t be here for another 5-14 business days?!?!?! And I have to pay $1400 extra for information that was not given/wrongly given. HOW IS THIS OK???? This company is nothing but a scam.

Thieves! Scam artists

Allied transportation group are common day thieves taking advantage of anyone they can. They have buried my wife’s review so here it is posted again. PLEASE READ THIS AND BE WARNED!!!! Absolutely gutted. How they have close to a 5 star review is beyond me. My husband called and initially talked to Joe. My husband over estimated the number of boxes and went through everything that was in our 2 bd/2bath apartment and Joe quoted us at 2,300. The conversation was very reassuring that this would be very close to end cost. Joe said to send the deposit and that if we had to cancel, no worries, because they give the deposit back as long as it's within 3 days of the move. Fast forward to a week before our big move to get the updated list to Bruce. Bruce re-quoted us at 5,700! Why the big jump? Customer service then called us and said our inventory list went from 49 items to 109! What?? How?? He went through MOST of these items with Joe! My husband is a Paramedic, we have two kids, a 15mo and a 2mo. We are in the process of buying our very first home and had to borrow money to do so. We budgeted at tops 3,000 for a moving company. There is NO WAY we could afford 5,700. If Joe would've originally quoted us for that, we would have looked at different options back in December. Not only did we have to scramble and look for different options very close to our moving date, but we also were told that we wouldn't be getting our $887 deposit back because Joe lied to us and said it was three days prior to the move, when in reality it's three days after the deposit is made. My husband tried to call to see if they'd be willing to rectify this and they routed his number to direct voicemail. So he called from my number and sure enough was able to talk to a representative who said she would get to the "bottom" of this by pulling the recorded conversation with Joe and get back to us by the end of the day. We never got a call back. At the most vulnerable time in our lives, this company took complete advantage of us and it's brutal. Edited to add: I called them after their comment to "address this" and the representative said, "yes, I see all of the notes on your account, however, unfortunately I'm not able to override and offer your deposit back." Then ummm, why am I calling? I'm sure it's only to make themselves look like they're trying to "help". Just sad. Edit edit: Yet again your customer “service” people told us they’d review the audio log where joe intentionally underquoted us and ignored almost everything he was supposed to list. Your team never got back to us with a copy of the audio log from that call. And I promise you it’s because you got caught stealing. You guys are crooks and scam artists. I hope your company sinks. You literally stole over $1,000 from a veteran and public safety operator with two babies under two. And have done NOTHING to rectify the situation. Disgraceful.

Terrible Customer Service!

Can I give 0 stars?

First of all, I was very excited and happy with my first call with John from Allied Transportation Group. I received a call today from Daniel. He informed me that John had been let go and no longer worked there. I totally understand that people move on from companies or whatnot as we own and operate a customer service-based company and have for the last 12 years. So ok fine!

As the call proceeded, I was informed that the confirmed delivery date of May 21st was not confirmed. In fact, my delivery would take up to 14 days. I assured them, that after getting about 8 quotes, I chose them to provide this service for us based on the 21st move in date. Today on the call I asked Daniel to provide me with the recording of that call. Daniel said when I originally spoke about the 21st that John did in fact say ok to that being the date of delivery.

Then a lady by the name of Tracy got on the line and started yelling at me. I asked her nicely many times to stop yelling at me, which she in turn told me, "this is just how I talk!" I asked Tracy and Daniel if there was someone else I could speak to that wouldn't yell at me. I was informed there were no other managers to speak too. Tracy then said she was cancelling our service! I nicely said, I have not asked to cancel my service. Daniel got back on the line and confirmed that he would not cancel our move. I don't know if they will show up or not. Daniel just hung up on me.

Long story short, I would never speak to any of my customers in this manner. Never! I would do everything in my power to make sure that customers experience was the best.

We've moved 15 times in the last 12 years. I am very understanding and have more than normal amount of experience with moving companies. If I were you I would use well-known name brands like POD or U-Pack or anyone else than Allied.

To add to it, once they give you a quote, they'll start informing you about all the add-on's after you make your deposit. For example, today I was informed that every stair after the 7th one they charge you for. Who has a staircase with only 7 steps? Just another way of them taking on more fees after you pay deposit. That is not in their contract by the way, it just says flight of stairs.

Run! Run as fast as you can from this company.

Worst move ever! Do not use this company!!

This is my 5th interstate move, so I expect hassle. But not misdirection and extortion. I went over the inventory with the sales guy, increased it again online and then spent 40 minutes on the phone the day before my move, going over it again, and it increased again, even though I had fewer boxes and furniture than I had originally planned. And they still ran out of room, even though they said it wouldn't be a full load. Won't unload anything so my $75 end tables will make the trip but not my $800 grill. Or antique stained glass, mower, etc. The guys here agreed that everything was on the inventory, corporate yahoo said my stuff was nice and therefore bigger. Full of excuses and blaming the software. If you know it is off, why not ask additional questions?? In the end, they are renting a trailer to load the rest and I get to pay them for the difference. I signed a contract but didn't receive a copy of it, they haven't shown up this morning, and they don't have the storage facility address. Who knows if I will ever see my "nice" stuff again.

Not to mention, for the $17,000+ that I am paying, I would expect more than two guys with U-Hauls! Not sure what the condition of my items will be as professional packing went by the wayside somewhere in there. Again, I am assuming that I will see them again.

Long-distance move from Greenview, IL to Flushing, NY

NIGHTMARE COMPANY!

We are now on the 31st on a move that was supposed to happen in 7 to 15 days from Illinois to New York.

I was leaving a domestic situation And needed to be out ASAP! Allied quickly got on the phone with me and made me feel secure. They took the full initial payment of over $1000 and picked up my items July 21 with a second full payment of over$1000. EASY MOVERS, the next mess of a company they contract with to actually move your stuff showed up with someone else’s belongings last Friday. The company didn’t even notice it wasn’t mine; we had to tell them. Makes me wonder, who has my stuff? Now, no one responds to my emails. When I text, the dispatcher basically says there’s nothing she can do and the owners do not speak to customers. When I told her I was going to call the police she said to do whatever I want and that I’m just going to have to wait. They are rude, condescending, and completely devoid of any emotion. If I wasn’t in the situation I was in I would have read the reviews and noticed that this company either gets one star or five stars. That in itself is sketchy and I would not trust any five star ratings . I’m sure the owners children are giving those five star ratings or any politician they may have links with. No legitimate company would be allowed to run such a scamming business unless they had high influences on their side. WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE! I’ll keep you posted to see if my stuff ever arrives.

Allied Transportation Review

The original estimate was very poor. A revised final cost was 25% higher. I was charged for a one day delay between pick up and delivery. Actual delay was 2 days which I didn't know about until pickup was complete. The pickup was late afternoon requiring us to clean well after midnight. We were not notified about delivery they just showed up after we had gone to bed on Saturday night.

Long-distance move from Eustis, FL to Mount Airy, NC

Worst experience

Worst experience.

Let's start with the day before moving. I'm called the day before the move and given a time. I am told over and over again this will be a turn around move so I must be in the new location within 24 hours.

Moving day. I am told movers are coming 10am-noon. Movers show up at 4:39, movers don't finish packing until 9pm. At what point I'm told I was under quoted and will be charged an extra 3700.

The next day I'm told it's not longer a turn around move and will be a week.

There days later I get a phone call saying "opps" we messed up and the truck is almost to you. But because the company messed up and did not pre plan my payment I now have to pay 3700 cash to get my things.

Damages.

List of things damaged .

1. Floors in the home I was moving out of

2. Door of my new home

3. Baby's crib

4. Wooden dog crate

5. Living room sofa

6. Dining room chair

7. Recliner

8. Baby dresser

9. Boxes, so many boxes.

10. Kitchen table

11. Bar stools

I have attached photos of a few things.

I recommend to find ANY other company. Literally anyone.

Long-distance move from Marana, AZ to Bella Vista, AR

Bait and switch

The initial process was smooth, quote for a a three bedroom home was between $6500 and $7500 for an approximate 1187 mile and 11 days travel. The week prior to moving I was contacted by Adrienne “Quality Assurance Manager at allied transportation . Adrienne quoted a new price over the phone of $16,000 for transportation costs (2.5 times the initial quote) at which time she told me the dramatic increase was a result of my vast good and my fraudulent under estimation.

I was told nonsense, such as I didn’t inform them that my beds had a box spring and mattress, she even mentioned the beds did not show up on the quote with a headboard or footboard either. I chuckled and said “don’t most beds have box springs and mattress? I initially told Joe (initial quote) that two beds were

Adjustable and the third bed was a traditional box/mattress.

I explained the enormous increase appears predatory in nature and politely declined future services in writing at (support@alliedtransportgroup.com ) and even tried complain about the quote and Adrienne’s extremely hateful, vulgar and unprofessional conversation towards me. I explained that she (Adrienne ) didn’t have to make it personal, however she was angry and hateful saying she had done nothing wrong and immediately hung up the phone after refusing to give me anyone’s name or phone number whom she is accountable.

I would have been willing to work with someone else, just not Adrienne, she is a very angry person with contempt and hate towards other(s) ME.

I unfortunately had to dispute the charges (deposit) based on the deceptive quote a week prior to scheduled service(s).

I’m not unreasonable and understand the reason for a quote range in pricing. The initial quote was pretty much what industry standards dictates, as I had received several other quotes similar in pricing, one higher and one lower. I also understand the recent cost (increase) in diesel fuel as one reason for a potential increase in costs.

I unfortunately had to hire a different company to move my household good as the costs were not what was initially quoted. Again, the new moving company quotes was very similar allied transportation.

I welcome any contact from Allied Transportation Executive Staff regarding this unfortunate loss in business opportunity.

Respectfully, Leonard

Long-distance move from Newark, DE to Moyock, NC

Worse moving experience EVER

This move occurred in December 2021. It has taken us a long time to get the small amount of $$ back even after involving CSI-a recommended federal organization.

10/29/21-original cost of $6050.00 was given to us by Joe Ryan at Allied Transportation Group and we gave a deposit of @2072.52 on that date. The binding estimate fee at that time was $2630. On 11/26 my husband was notified of an increase and gave an additional $1512.00. On pick-up day we paid $2008.11 in a check and also gave $1000. in cash to Saul from Northern Elite Van Lines (NEVL). NEVL was secured by Allied Transportation. The movers backed their truck into our mailbox loosening it-my husband yelled for the driver to stop, we had some damage to our miniblinds in the master bedroom and a ceiling fan in the one bedroom that my husband fixed, and the pull chain was broken in pieces. Their truck battery died and they needed to wait 2 hours for the backup truck that we were assured would be ready in case all of our belongings did not fit in the first truck.

They were there until midnight. At that time we were given a document stating the balance at delivery would be $3008.11. 11/29/21-Jennifer Veltri telephoned us and stated we owed more money -told us the binding estimate increased by $4142. She stated we owed an additional $6445.73 cash due on delivery. She stated this was all because of our signed contract with Allied Transportation Group-she blamed the increase on the broker. She stated she would send us this paperwork, but we never received it On 12/1 we talked to a "James" from Allied Transportation about what NEVL told us of the drastic increase including the binding fee and he stated she could not do that. He stated he was getting messages for Joe Ryan who was off, he told us he

would call NEVL and get back to us-he never did. On 12/2 message was left for Joe Ryan without a response on the office phone and cell. Additionally, we asked numerous times from Allied Transportations to see the signed documents, and the agreements and they kept sending us a link that none of us were able to open. NEVL paperwork is very difficult to read, and they left no paperwork with us-we took pictures of it before they left. We never experienced such a heart-retching move as this and we used 2 moving companies previously. What started as $6050 ended up costing us $13,038.36. We also had many items damaged.

We filed a claim with CSI and received $312 from NEVL and that was after we called again about the money!!!! Many items were damaged, and Allied Transportation would not get back to us.

If I could give zero stars I would and NEVL does not even have an area to leave a review-it only posts positive reviews.

Stay away from NEVL also known as Wrap and Tag Movers out of New Jersey. Also, the drastic price increase was after all our belongings were on their trucks.

Long-distance move from Granite Quarry, NC to Byron, MI

Most expensive and worst move ever

I contacted AGT in Sept for a move to be done in Nov. Was in contact several times and a final before the move. Each time I spoke with someone the cost went up! The "final" before move I had eliminated several large items, especially 2 shelving units that were 70 inches tall, 24 inches deep and 48 inches wide, I'd think they would take up a lot of volume, there were several other things, to many to list here. I added 23 boxes. Told her the total number of boxes, all the sizes (only things I added). I was told cost went up. They told me they were going to pick up & store for # weeks in climate controlled building. They did no pick up on date I needed as agreed. They did not do the pick up, and then another $7000 was charged!!!! Then the truck that had been sent wasn't big enough and I had leave things. So a quote of $8000+ became $15000+ for a 700 mile move. Stuff arrived scratched, gouged and dented, broke iron wheel on a cabinet, leather strap on trunk , boxes were soaking wet, I did not receive 2 tool bags, a step ladder, a box of paint brushes/supplies, 4 ft level and lastly freshly upholstered chair was soaking wet!!! Was someone setting new household and needed these??? Most of furniture is antique or vintage so can't be replaced or easily repaired. Very sad, I have moved 7 times in recent years had a canning jar broken and a gouge ( that was pointed out to me not put in garage hoping I wouldn't notice) on a footboard, not having every piece of furniture damaged and things just disappear. Also was stored in climate controlled area. I had to move for medical reasons and feel like I should have just taken my chances with medical. Oh yeah I'm a retired widow just lost my husband. So did they see coming and took advantage of the stress I was under?? I have lost faith and trust in the moving industry - I know the last couple years have been a " gravy train" with everyone moving but they need to remember this won't always be the case and people have long memories about wrongs that have been done. As for me I am telling everyone I know about my experience so hopefully they will be extremely careful when they are moving. I know a lot of people being in customer service for a couple large reputable companies that work across the US. So bottom line is my binding estimate almost doubled after adding 23 boxes and eliminating a ton of things, being an accountant ( wish I was a lawyer) not sure how that adds up. Never use this company, so sorry I was not better at vetting them!
